Lahoud Residence

IGA role: Full design

Location: Lebanon

The very uneven plot of land, due to its irregular shape, different levels and various elements, were in the favor of a simplified and regularized design to reveal the charm and the historical value of the 150 year old house classified in the National Heritage.

The composition is therefore reduced to a grid of identical trees to clear the view of the openings of the house and delimit the pathways. The rest is brought back to what is basic and essential: a large open space around the pool, a long covered terrace, a row of trees along the fence interspersed with clearings in certain places to let through additional sun light or allow a panoramic view.
